About Marianne
Marianne founded Progressive and is the Chief Operating Officer of the company. She has 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in the finance systems function where she held the role of Global Finance Systems Manager for Enterprise Oil until their takeover by Shell in 2002.
Biography
Marianne’s strong suits are problem-solving by investigation, conceptualising new system models and making improvements to existing processes. She works together with users to obtain the best from their systems and business practices, particularly in the assessment of new financial reporting standards and year-end procedures.
Marianne has in-depth experience in the design and delivery of centralised financial systems’ functions for global organisations including SunSystems Finance ( v6, v5.3 and v5.4) with QA reporting suite (v10 and vision 6), SAP, Oracle, Sage and Ideas from an implementation and design view through to post go-live support and development. Marianne is a highly motivational trainer, and has extensive expertise in management, recruiting and coaching.
She has provided consultative services to clients including Afren, Anglo-Tunisian Oil & Gas, Asante Oil, Azimuth Group, Bowleven, Chrysaor, Coro Energy, Desire Petroleum, Encore Oil, Genel Energy, Hansa Hydrocarbons, Impact Oil & Gas, Jersey Oil & Gas, Melrose Resources, NEO Energy, Rialto Energy, Salamander Energy, Seplat, Sparrows Group, Setanta Manco and Stratic Energy Corporation.
