Important Update for HxGN EAM Customers

You may have seen recent announcements from Hexagon and we wanted to share an update directly with you as valued HxGN EAM customers to provide some clarity.

Hexagon ALI becomes Octave

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence (ALI) division is spinning off into a standalone software company called Octave. This strategic move reflects a decision to operate as an independent software organisation with a focus on “unleashing intelligence at scale”.

As part of this transition, products are being renamed to align with the new Octave brand. HxGN EAM is now known as Octave Attune EAM.

You can learn more about Octave at www.octave.com, and follow updates from Progressive on LinkedIn please see https://www.linkedin.com/company/progressive-technology-solutions-ltd/.

Progressive recognised as an Octave Elite Channel Partner

Progressive is pleased to announce that we have achieved Octave Elite Channel Partner status, the highest level channel status within the Octave partner ecosystem.

“Progressive has been awarded Octave Elite Channel Partner status in recognition of the team’s deep subject matter expertise and long-standing experience delivering EAM to asset intensive industries.

We’re excited to take the next stage of our journey with Progressive, transforming data and intelligence into decisions and action at scale.”

Liam Knapp, Director of EMIA Channel Sales, Octave

What does this mean for me?

Importantly, no action is required from you. Everything you rely on today remains the same.

  • The technology, functionality, and roadmap remain unchanged
  • Your existing environment, data, and integrations are unaffected
  • Your contracts, SLAs, invoicing, and support arrangements remain the same
  • Your usual Progressive contacts and delivery teams remain unchanged

Over the coming months, you may start to notice updated product names, branding, and visual styling across documentation, release notes, and portals. These are naming and branding updates only – the underlying asset management software you rely on every day is not impacted.

“The transition from Hexagon to Octave represents a very positive step for Progressive and our clients, as we continue to benefit from their strong investment in innovation and data intelligence.

We’re delighted that Octave recognises us as an Elite Channel Partner and value their continued commitment to Progressive, and the opportunities this creates for the long term success of both our organisations.”
