What you can expect from Infor SunSystems Cloud 2026.04
Two of Progressive’s SunSystems consultants Rebecca Sandle and Wasey Raquib, are excited to share some key highlights from the latest Infor SunSystems Cloud 2026.04 release.
This update brings a number of practical enhancements that will make a real difference to your day‑to‑day SunSystems experience.
Key enhancements for Progressive customers:
- Q&A Report Scheduler – Reporting in SunSystems has been enhanced to make it easier and more efficient for organisations to access and share financial information. Updates to the Query & Analysis Report Scheduler ensure that reports are always produced using the latest data, even for larger or more complex reports. Reports can now be scheduled multiple formats including PDFs that are ideal for audit use and everyday operational reporting. With reports sent automatically by email and fully configurable delivery options, financial information can be shared quickly and securely with key stakeholders such as CEO’s and CFO’s across the business. This removes the need for manual processes, improves consistency, and helps ensure the right information reaches the right people at the right time.
- Form Designer Enhancements – The web‑based Form Designer in SunSystems has been enhanced to give finance and system teams greater control and ease of use when designing and updating forms. New features such as snap‑to‑grid make it simpler to align layouts and adjust screens directly within the browser, helping ensure forms appear exactly as intended. This is particularly beneficial when moving forms from on‑premise environments to the web.
- Integration Capabilities and API Improvements – Integration continues to be a major focus within the SunSystems Cloud roadmap, with the 2026.04 release building on ongoing improvements to API capabilities, such as enhancing API coverage and improving connectivity with external systems. These enhancements will support smoother data exchange and reduce manual interfaces, make it easier to connect to SunSystems. At Progressive, we currently link to sites such as OANDA to automatically import exchange rates, taking the small admin tasks off you. With the API enhancements, we will be able to connect to a greater catalogue of systems automating some of these day to day processes.
Other features included in this release:
Dashboards – The 2026.04 release continues to expand SunSystems dashboards and widgets, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable. New widgets include:
- Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) – which shows how long it takes to pay suppliers, helping finance teams track cash flow trends and optimise payment performance.
- Average Invoice Processing Time – this measures the time taken for invoices to move from receipt through to payment, making it easier to identify delays and process bottlenecks.
- Invoice Status Tracker – provides immediate visibility of approved versus unapproved invoices, helping reduce late payments, supplier queries and operational risk.
- To Be Invoiced Purchase Order Lines – A key period-end control, highlighting outstanding liabilities early and supporting more accurate accruals.
E Invoicing for Compliance – SunSystems Cloud now includes built-in e‑invoicing capabilities, supporting compliance frameworks such as PEPPOL. This integrated approach helps organisations meet regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions without the need for additional tools or complex integrations. With e‑invoicing set to become mandatory in the UK from 2029, this enhancement provides a strong foundation for future compliance.
Expanded Language Support – To better support international deployments, the new update introduces additional language support for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, helping multinational organisations deploy and scale the platform across international regions. SunSystems now supports 9 languages.
